Brad Ellis owner/operator of Instinct Builders was born and raised in Orange County NC. He worked in the automotive industry for some time but knew that it was not his passion. Brad then started his own business building decks and doing interior trim work. Established in 1997, his business grew from a 2 man crew to a 4 man crew, to a 6 man crew and now he has TWO 6 men crews that he manages.

At the start of his business Brad advertised mainly through the local phone book, placing signs at his job sites and handing out business cards to many people and businesses. Soon through his advertising efforts, word of mouth, and very pleased clients Brad gained referrals from the local wood material store he did business with as well as from family members, friends, and coworkers of his past clients. These efforts and very happy clients have made Brad a go to guy for the many services he provides.

Brad and his company Instinct Builders provide services to include new homes, renovations, additions, fences, decks, roofing, horse barns, and historical buildings (i.e. Mebane School on Mebane Rogers Road). They also do lawn maintenance to include bush hogging, mowing, over seeding, fertilization applications and leaf removal.

As a dedicated father of 2 and married to his loving wife for over 20 years people stand by their word when they say Brad is a hard worker and is truly dedicated to the happiness of others.
